4 weeks Creative throwing/Handbuilding workshop
At the heart of many great design and creative work is experimentation and play - a self granted permission for one to venture into the unknown. Join me over the 4 weeks course to explore making with one of the most versatile medium - clay.
What the 4 weeks course entail:
First week:
We will be practicing throwing on the potters wheel together or hand building depending on what you are gravitating towards.
Second week:
There will be more opportunity to practice throwing/hand building. We will also continue working with your thrown pieces and parts, trimming, shavings, shaping your desired forms.
Third week:
Opportunity to continue working with your pieces, trimming, decorating surfaces.
Fourth week:
The final week we will learn about glazing together and we will glaze your pieces prior to the final firing.

Inspiration materials - You may wish to work with sketches, photography, architecture, music to help your making process
This workshop is for:
Those who anyone wish to explore clay as a new art/design medium
Those who currently feel stuck within their creative endeavours
Those who wish to explore clay in an intimate setting
Intimate group (up to 6 spots available)
